Chief Bush Antagonist Wants To Call McClellan To The Hill

Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Flordia., says Scott McClellan's book is full of "shocking revelations," and Wexler wants the former Bush press secretary to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee about the Bush administration's "deliberate efforts to mislead the American people into the Iraq War."

Wexler stated:

"Scott McClellan must now appear before the House Judiciary Committee under oath to tell Congress and the American people how President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, and White House officials deliberately orchestrated a massive propaganda campaign to sell the war in Iraq to the American people.... "The allegations by this former top White House aide - that Rove and Libby deliberately coordinated their stories in order to obstruct justice in the Plame case, that the President deliberately disregarded contradictory evidence related to Iraq, should outrage every American."

Congress just loves a good, old fashion hearing during the Summer to help work the electorate into a frenzy before the elections. A word of advise to Mr. McClellan….get a good lawyer (that should pretty much wipe any money you made on the book!), you are going to need it.
