Strike up another one for “Progressive lawyers” and their do gooder ways. Former Camp Gitmo detainee, Abdallah Saleh Ali Al Ajmi, was freed with the help of three US Attorney's so that he could become a Marta: But Your Honor...his rights were violated!
Lawyers from the Shearman & Sterling law firm, working pro bono, helped secure Ajmi release from US custody. Ajmi was turned over to the Kuwait government, where he was eventfully acquitted.
The innocent Ajmi “allegedly” detonated a car bomb in Mosul, an action that won him praise, being honored with a banner that read “the hero of the heroes.”
