No one person is to blame for our current energy prices, we are all in this mess together. However the Democratic strategy once again seems to be blame George Bush and big oil. God forgive they would ever take ownership for their mistake and try and solve the problem sensibly. But there is a one person amongst us that promised us salvation….Nancy Pelosi. In 2006, leading up to the elections, Nancy Pelosi promised all Americans that the Democrats would get us out of this mess (Nancy Pelosi Press Release - April 2006). Ms. Pelosi reminded us that, at the time of her press release, gas had risen by .90 cents since President Bush took office, and a barrel of oil cost $70.00. Well guess what, gas has risen $1.50 a gallon, and $150.00 a barrel, since the Democrats took control of Congress, with prices expected to go higher.
Well Ms. Pelosi, we're waiting!
