Seeing the prize of the Presidency within his grasp, Obama has reneged on a previous guarantee, and has decided to forgo accepting public funds (which in turn would have placed spending restrictions on Obama’s campaign):

This of course will be diminished by Obama’s supporters, but should be a reminder to all of us of how easy it was for Barrack Obama to go back on his word when the promise no longer suited him. Politics as usual!
