In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court held that the gun ban in Washington, DC violated the intent of the 2^nd Amendment of the United States Constitution. Without overstating the obvious, this is one of the greatest victories for our individual freedoms since the Constitution was ratified in 1791.
