Recently Michael Steele and Henry Olsen wrote articles reaffirming what many Conservatives know; In defeat we can grow stronger. But in order to grow stronger, we must avoid the temptation to listen to the more moderate elements of the Republican Party. Both Olsen and Steele get it. Strong leadership, a clear message, and sound principals, that is how we win the faith of the American people.
Former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steel, Wall Street Journal:
Mr. Steele gave one of the best speeches offered at the 2008 Republican Convention, and is a strong candidate to serve as the next Chairman of the RNC (barring the desire of Gingrich to seek the role).
Next we have Henry Olson, of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI):
AEI is a must read every morning. I do not agree with their entire conclusions, but they are firmly entrenched in approaching issues from a Conservative prospective more often than not.
