Obama’s Brown Shirt Army: Americorp

During the Presidential campaign, then candidate Obama had what many of us felt was a “Reichstag” moment when he proposed “a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded”

Throughout the ages social fascist have known that the key to power is to control the press and indoctrinate the youth. It is in that spirit that President Obama, with the willing participation of Congress, is preparing to release an internal domestic force comprised of the same sheep that help put the Leftist in power:

“……strong odor of creepy authoritarianism.” That is an understatement!
The facts should frighten all Americans:

  • 75,000 to 250,000 soldiers
  • Funded at $5.7 billion
  • Youth engagement zones
  • Operational headquarters placed on college campus’
  • Superintendents/cadre and uniforms
  • Mandatory service learning that will be part of the curriculum in all secondary schools
The only thing missing is a salute, a march, and a endearing title for the overall leader of this force. I would like to suggest the Deutscher Gruß, the goose step, and either Chancellor or Duce Obama. Just keep reminding yourself....its for our own good.

On one part of the page, you have a list of "All American" non-profits who help people when they are down and out... You do realize that some of these organizations (probably most) are not as bigoted as you are, right?

...While your blog calls AmeriCorp a Brown Shirt (Nazi) Army for President Obama. It's pretty clear you yourself are the bigot. Your apparent hero -- the founder of the original Brown Shirts -- would have shared your opinions of America's first African-American President.

You'd no doubt would like to return to the policies of #43 - the worst American President in our history. He and his kind (you?) are out there trying to make him look good now that the damage is done. Not gonna happen.

But of course, you won't approve this comment, will you, Jeff?

John C.,

Thanks for the comments, and unlike those on the Left, I have no problem printing anyone’s comments (except those that use obscene language)’ regardless of how devoid of fact they are.

I see that you have resorted to the first discipline of the new American fascist movement (Liberals), by resorting to name-calling. There is not a bigoted bone in my body, but it also does not bother me that someone who does not know me would falsely make that claim (it speaks to the character of the Left). You however immediately resorted to the second discipline of the Left, make it about race, gender or preference. President Obama is my president, not my Black President. You John appear to look upon our Presidents skin color first when addressing any valid critique of his actions. Who is really the bigot here? The sad truth John is that the Left, and by extension the Democratic Party, are filled with a bunch of racist and “silver-spoon” bigots.

Which brings us to Liberal discipline number three, accuse me of either being a Nazi or worshipping the original founder of the Brown Shirts (you meant Hitler, who was not the person of conceived the Hitler youth…..nice try). I could never be a Nazi because I believe in God, I am not a vegan, believe that schools should be controlled locally (and devoid of social engineering), that parents know what is best for their children (not the State), that government should not have the power to arbitrarily seize private property or bring businesses under the control of the government, that life should be protected, nor do I believe that requiring mandatory service in a centralized, domestic army for all youths is “for our own good.” Those were all policies the Nazi’s believed in, and sound an awful lot like what the platform of the Democratic Party is today.

What part of Nationalsozialismus (National Socialism) do you believe a Conservative (me) would every embrace? Other than national pride (which was grossly perverted by the Nazi’s to further oppress them….and PLEASE do not accuse Republicans/Conservatives of doing the same…it is false and frankly insults your intelligence if you really believe that tripe), and contrary to books written by American Socialist, everything about the Nazi Party was a Left leaning, authoritative, SOCIALIST based regime. The 25-point platform of the Nazi Party reads like the Democrat Contract with America.

Ameriacorp was not a “brown-shirt” army prior to 2009, but the actions of President Obama administration to pervert this organization makes the comparison appropriate. If you knew the real history of the fascist/socialist movement, it would have been obvious to you that the type of expansion that is being proposed by the Obama administration looks eerily like what happen in Germany, Italy, and countless other oppressive nations. But lets try an experiment to see “how truly impartial” you (or anyone reading this reply) might claim to be. Let us change the news story that originally talked about then candidate Obama’s proposal to read:
President Bush proposed today to create “a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as our current military.
That does not sound any better to me than the originally headline did. And John, do you know why? Because regardless of who proposed it, it is SOCIALIST, and I would resisting it. But isn’t it funny that a Democrat, not a Republican, proposed creating a “national” army of youth. But there I go again, being a bigot.

Additionally, Americorp is a waste of money. There are organizations already in place that are better prepared to handle any issues this administration believes will be achieved by paying “volunteers” who are incapable of getting a job because they wasted four years of their life on a useless college degree that did not translate to the real world.
And finally, yet importantly, John you resorted to the fourth discipline of the Left, immediately bringing President Bush into the discussion. President Bush is gone, and not longer a factor in the discussion. President Obama is the leader of this country, and he should not have sought the job if all he was going to do is blame the previous administration. Just as many on the Left did not want the disastrous foreign policy under Clinton and Carter to be used as an excuse for the terrorist attacks and bold empowerment displayed by such countries as Syria and Iran to be brought up while President Bush was in power, you should not try to excuse this administrations incompetence. Those on the Left somehow feel that it was inappropriate for anyone to bring up the failures and inactions of previous administrations when President Bush was cleaning them up, yet don’t seem to live by that rule today. Do you know what my mom calls that, hypocrisy.

I will concede one point John, my language in this post came across harsh, but on the matter of extreme Socialist policies, I do not have the time for “niceties,” there is too much at stake.

Once again John, thanks for the comments and the name calling, I just wish you had brought more to the table than the same old Leftist drivel..

What else is needed to see this man's agenda? He has learned the lessons of successful internal revolution, placed himself in the seat of power in a time of national panic and need, and is ramming through Draconian measures left and...left, LOL, in order to save the economy, save the Auto industry.

He is following Hitler's playbook, IMO.

As a former volunteer of Americorp I am deeply troubled and disgusted by your view of what an Americorp Volunteer means. It is not a job for people who were unable to find employment in the world but an opportunity to give back to the community. I left a good paying job to become an Americorp Volunteer and literally donated my life to helping people. I was on call 24hours a day and received a living allowance of $800 a month, housing and all other needs were not included. I would generally work 70-80 hours a week and worked on fundamental projects. I wrote grants and established programs to alleviate povery. I ask that before attacking the volunteers and concluding why they join Americorp that you do some valid research. I will agree that the Americorp program is not the solution. I found many flaws within it during my time such as the disallocating of funds and resources, but I will also say that encouraging people to look outside themselves and give back to the community is a good thing, a recutible thing. It is high time that we in society stop fending just for ourselves and work together within our community.

SunStar,
Thanks for the comment.

Why you joined Americorp and what you believed you accomplished is irrelevant.

The federal government does not need to be involved in this. Local municipalities and non-profit groups are better equipped to handle the issues you talked about, ensuring a closer connection to the issues.

The solution is not to start at a nation level, but to build from the neighborhoods. This is not naïve, because I have done this and continue to do it.

SunStar, I truly mean this, I greatly respect your services to your neighbors. My concern is that the expansion of this problem will invite a group of volunteers committed to “contrived compassion,” and driven by partisan beliefs.

SunStar, my concern was not with the Americorp you served in, but with the expansion President Obama is proposing. Mark my words we will see a partisan group emerge from this, loyal to a central government instead of the neighborhoods these volunteers thought they were helping.

I to volunteer every week for multiple charities that receive no government funding, so every dollar raised goes direct to the people in need. For every dollar the government throws at the issue, more than 20% is lost, stolen or unaccounted for. But by creating these massive programs, that are controlled thousands of mile away from the problem, you will never be able to effectively create a synergy between the issue and a solution.

Thanks once again for your comment and service

Once again John, thanks for the comments and the name calling.

Says the pot to the kettle. Did you not call Americorp a Brown Shirt Army? Regardless of what they wear, your intent is obvious.
